1. Our position on copyright
downloadxAI respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. The Service does not host, store, upload, or index any video files. It is a tool that operates on links provided by users, and the tool itself is in a preview state with downloading functionality launching soon.
2. Filing a copyright infringement notice
If you believe that content accessible through or referenced by the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent at the email address below.
Your notice must include all of the following elements:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the specific URL(s) at which it can be located;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. Where to send notices
DMCA notices should be emailed to support@videodownloaderai.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Incomplete notices cannot be processed, so please make sure all required elements are included.
4. How we respond
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it promptly and, where appropriate, act to remove or disable access to the referenced material, and forward the notice to the affected user where possible. Because the Service does not host content, our ability to act is generally limited to blocking or filtering the referenced URLs within the Service.
5. Counter-notifications
If you believe that material you posted or referenced was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, your contact details, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local federal court. We will restore removed material within ten to fourteen business days unless the complaining party files a court action.
6. Repeat infringers
We take repeat infringement seriously. Where we determine, based on valid DMCA notices or other reliable evidence, that a user is a repeat infringer, we will terminate or restrict that user's access to the Service in appropriate circumstances.
7. Misrepresentations
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Submit notices and counter-notices in good faith only.
