1. Our approach to your data

downloadxAI is built around a simple principle: we collect as little personal data as possible. The current preview version of the Service does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email address, and does not process the video URLs you paste beyond checking their format in your own browser.

2. What we do not collect

In the current preview version:

• No account registration and no personal identifiers;
• No server-side logging of the URLs you paste into the downloader;
• No video files or metadata stored on our servers;
• No sale, rental, or sharing of personal data with third parties, because we do not hold any.

3. Local storage on your device

We use your browser's localStorage — a storage area that stays on your device and is never transmitted to us — to remember two preferences:

• Age verification ("dxai-age-ok"): a timestamp recording that you confirmed you are 18 or older. It expires after 30 days, after which you will be asked again. This is required because the Service references adult-content platforms.
• Cookie preference ("dxai-cookie-ok"): records whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the consent banner is not shown on every visit for 30 days.

You can clear these values at any time through your browser settings; doing so simply means you will see the age gate and cookie banner again.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website currently sets no tracking cookies and loads no analytics scripts. We plan to add privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics after launch to understand usage and improve the Service. When we do, we will update this policy, disclose the provider, and honor the choice you recorded in the cookie banner — an opt-out will remain available at all times.

5. Hosting and infrastructure

The website is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually all web hosting providers, Vercel may process technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, and access timestamps) in server logs for security and operational purposes, under their own privacy obligations. We do not receive or combine this data with any personal information about you.

6. Third-party services

The Service references third-party platforms such as TNAFlix. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms, and this policy does not cover any content or data handled by them. Please review their respective privacy policies.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. If you believe we hold information about you — for example from an email you sent us — you may request its review or deletion at any time using the contact address below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
